Dear Friends,

In July 2023, I announced the beginning of a search for a suitable building which would facilitate the implementation of the vision and mission of I AM Equipping Center. I AM Equipping Center exists to serve as an apostolic hub where people in Iceland and around the world are trained and equipped for the work of ministry through biblical discipleship, teaching, prophetic ministry, and a school of the prophets.

 

We were recently offered an opportunity to purchase a newly renovated building (please see the photos below) that has served as a church for several years. I AM Equipping Center could begin holding services and training people immediately if we could purchase this building by November 15, 2023. In order to be able to do so, we will need your help. The total cost of the building is estimated at around $1.5 million but we have been offered the possibility of initially buying half of the building for around $700,000.

Will you prayerfully consider making a gift today to help us purchase at least half of the building?

This is such a small task if we join hands  and will only take a few hundred people to be apart!

God is moving in powerful ways in Iceland, the Nordic nations, and throughout the earth! Having a building will give IAM a permanent location where we can train up mature people who know their God, know who they are in Him, and will go into the nations to spread the gospel and demonstrate God’s kingdom.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT GIVING

I AM Equipping Center (IAM) is an Icelandic a non-profit organisation

Will my donation go towards the building or more general use?

All gifts made to the building fund will be marked as restricted use. This means that we will only use them for costs associated with purchasing the building project and, after the building has been bought, on purchases, rentals, fees, taxes, maintenance, furnishings, equipment, etc.

What if the current building deal does not happen?

If for any reason the current building purchase project does not go through, funds will be retained for alternative building solutions. We will provide periodic updates on the ongoing project to all donors.

I am a US donor. Can I benefit from tax-deductible giving?

At this time IAM does not have a 501c3 non-profit status in the USA but anticipates having one in the near future.

I intend on making a large gift (>$10k). Can I use alternative means of transfer?

Gifts to non-profit organizations outside of the USA are not normally eligible for tax-deductible giving (you should check with your tax advisor).
